Quick Guide to Installing WordPress via Softaculous in DirectAdmin
This guide will help you install WordPress quickly and easily using the Softaculous app installer in your DirectAdmin control panel.
Step 1: Log in to DirectAdmin
- Sign in to your DirectAdmin control panel.
Step 2: Access Softaculous
- In your DirectAdmin control panel, under Extra Features click on "Softaculous Auto Installer".
Step 3: Install WordPress
- In Softaculous, find WordPress either by browsing the list of scripts or using the search function.
- Click on "Install".
- Select the domain or subdomain where you want to install WordPress.
- Leave the "In Directory" option blank to install WordPress in the root directory or specify a subfolder.
- Enter your Site Name and Description.
- Set your Admin Username, Password (use strong password), and provide an Admin Email.
- Click the "Install" button at the bottom. Softaculous will proceed with the installation and show you a progress bar.
